Suzuki has upgraded its naked middleweight sportbike, Suzuki GSR400 and GSR400 ABS. Sale of new bikes have been started on 9 March of 2009. Suzuki GSR400 starts at 829 500 yen, and the GSR400 ABS can be yours for 861 000 yen. The two bikes currently are available In Japan only. Suzuki Japan targets to sell 1000 units of new GSR400 and 1000 units for upgraded GSR400 ABS.

Suzuki GSR400 and GSR400 ABS come with new features including fuel injection system and the module ECM (Engine Control Module). The engine’s power increases now up to 45 kVt at 12000rpm. The refinement also gives better fuel consumption and less exhaust emission.
